What about the sequel, "Big Bopper's Wedding"? It did reach #38, you know!

And the b-side of "Chantilly Lace" was a shameless attempt to cash in on other hits with the silly "The Purple People Eater Meets the Witch Doctor." :shock:

I like the one song, Jimbo, sorry. :) He was pretty much a novelty act, even including Chantilly Lace, so those other songs don't surprise me.

Chantilly Lace may have been a novelty song but I think it was one of the catchiest songs from that era. I love it.

R. Stevie Moore did a great cover version.
