Reunited Rollers Set To Headline

(DP) DISSOCIATED PRESS, March 28, 2008. "The Concert For Ven," a concert staged by the online community known as IMWAN, is of such a magnitude that the original lineup of the Bay City Rollers will reunite for a one-time-only gig as the headliners.

"We been fighting for mannae a year," said Rollers vocalist Les McKeown, but Vennie is needin' our help and we can put our egos and lawyers aside for one day." The concert is being staged to help the IMWANian known only as "Ven," whose sanity has come into question in recent weeks in his online posts.

"I think the world of Vennie, who's like a close, personal friend to me," says Chris (a/k/a "CBK1998") and when a friend needs help, you help him. As soon as I told the Rollers his story, they reunited like that!" Chris snapped his fingers to emphasize the point.

Other acts haven't been announced yet, but it's rumored that Steve Perry, who doesn't want to be outdone by the Bay City Rollers, may sing with Journey live for the first time in well over a decade. But what about Journey's new singer Arnel Pineda, who replaced the guy who replaced the guy who replaced Steve Perry??

"He can help the roadies do load in," said Chris.
