Hey, this time around the New York Fest gets the mini-Wings reunion that was incredibly awesome in Vegas last summer. I suggest you east coasters get some tix!

As I mentioned in another thread, The Smithereens are playing the Chicago Fest (along with Billy J. Kramer)!

I'll be heading over to the Vegas one again to see DONOVAN , Billy J. Kramer and Spencer Davis!

All 3 fests are going to have the lovely Patti Boyd, so that should be interesting as well.

Why can they no longer call themselves Beatlefest?

Why can't founder Mark Lapidos bring back this Beatles *Fest* back to Los Angeles... where it ran for many many years?

He pulled it after 9-11, and has never attempted to return here.
First citing "security" reasons, and then citing "cost". But I guess Las Vegas is ok.
L.A. area Beatles fans continue to be disappointed and irked with his actions.

Found out today thet Denny Laine will not be able to join the other two former Wings members at the NY/NJ Fest this year. Apparently he said he will return for future Fests, but cannot make this one.
