Renny, I can't include Pilgrim in my top 5, because I hate what Simon Climie did to the beautiful ballad, "Circus Left Town". I was also very saddened that that song is too closely associated with his son Connor (more than "Tears In Heaven") to be included on the Unplugged CD/VHS/DVD - even though it appeared on the original MTV broadcast. On the flip side of that coin, one of my favorite Clapton songs is "One Chance". That sucka is so slinky, and the bass line shakes da floor.
Minez Is:
There's One In Every Crowd Another Ticket Reptile Eric Clapton "RUSH" Motion Picture Soundtrack
Honorable Mention must be made for August which almost beat out the soundtrack. "The Phil Collins Years".

Speaking of EC, I just used the last of the 4 BMG codes (see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=24975 ) to get the expanded 2 cd "Deluxe Edition" of EC's self titled debut for a whopping $4.78 total.

I just did the same. I swore I wouldn't buy that album for a 5th time (CBS LP, CBS CD, Ryko expanded, Rhino 2-CD, now UMG 2-CD), but what the heck, it's under five bucks.

Eric Clapton's s/t Atco/RSO album wasn't released on the CBS, Ryko, or Rhino labels mentioned. Maybe you're thinking of Elvis Costello???

For some reason I thought I was in the "Best album of all time" thread. Mea culpa.
