btw....anyone like the Kina Grannis song "Message From Your Heart" that won the Dorito's Music contest?

Wonder if she sold any CDs considering millions were watching the game.

No.

Getting back to the "greatest upset" which, clearly it's not, there were more people favoring the Giants as the game got closer, and if you look at who had all the momentum leading up to the game and who was playing better, it was the Giants all the way. I wasn't surprised they won in the least, I just wish I had bet more on the Giants then what I did. I'll say it again-the Giants knew they could win this game thanks to Coughlin playing all the starters in that 38-35 loss.

Jimbo & JohnG,
You guys have got to be over the moon about this. Jimbo, you are going to have to get the Super Bowl DVD for posterity's sake. Throw in a few hats and t-shirts as well.

Steve: My brother went to the local Modell's (sporting goods store) this morning. Thye were out of hats and had only a few t-shirts left. Apparently people lined up as early as 4AM for merchandise.

I'm not a hat/t-shirt guy...those things don't age well but I will get the DVD when it comes out.

Luckily I TIVO'd the final TD drive in HD so I think I'll keep it on my DVR for awhile.
I watched the entire game again today and it still remarkable how Eli escaped that near sack and then threw the ball to David Tyree who caught the ball with his head.

BTW.....who's going to the Parade? I was at the NY Mets 1986 parade. Never made it to a Yankee parade.

It was really strange today. This guy set up a roadside stand absolutely JAMMED with Giants memorabilia and pennants with "Eli MANNING" emblazoned across them, as if he'd hit upon a really great idea. Which it might have been if not for two things:
1. We're in Kentucky
2. The intersection had no place at all for anyone to stop, and was very busy. Not even a sidewalk. The only place to be off the road was filled up with his truck and stand.

My regular LIRR train this morning was overflowing with high schoolers playing hooky to attend the parade today. Penn Station was a sea of blue & white.

It's a good thing that Wednesday is my usual J&R day, and not Tuesday.

Yeah, I was wondering how this would affect their business... although they do have an annoying habit of scheduling live performances during the lunch hour on New Release day, and they set the stage up right where the new releases would be.

This time, however, the entire J&R complex is affected, not just the rock and pop section.

(For those who don't know... J&R is located across from City Hall, where the ticker tape parade will end and the celebratory rally will take place. Crowds aplenty... none of whom give a damn about the new Sheryl Crow album... :ohyes: )

Yeh, avoid like hell the City Hall area. I feel bad for the Wall Streeters.
