Happy New Year to all! 2008 should be a great year what with Brian Wilson's new album and the suggested Kinks reunion!

Happy New Year's to all of you. I hope many good wishes come true for people here on this board. Please stay safe out there if you have to drive around this evening or tomorrow. There's a lot of irrespnsible loonies out there with whom safety is not considered a high priority. For me, it's going to be a quiet one once again. I'm going to curl up and read and stop to think about a very dear cousin of mine who passed away this past Saturday afternoon.
I imagine that 2008 is going to be a major transitional year for us music buyers as far as physical product goes.

Wish I felt better though. I had to pull out of what would have been a wonderful dinner at Don Pepe's II in Parsippanny NJ tonight. I hate getting head colds.

Happy New Year to all...even MonkeyBoy! (Merry Christmas there too MB!) Here's hoping that 2008 sees positive changes in the music industry rather than the petty, spiteful actions of the RIAA. There have been reasons to be hopeful, so let's hope that they continue.

Happy 2008 and beyond to all you and yours. With the Cameo Parkway remasters sitting in my collection I have nothing to complain about any more.

I'll try to find where I originally saw the info. I know I read about it when the "Man of the World" DVD was being put together. Anyone who may have had any bootleg tapes of FM or Green was being asked if they would contribute them for possible use for a box that was being put together.I'll check back.

OK, I found where I saw the Green box info. An employee of Union Square Music posted at one of the Fleetwood Mac sites .According to the post, Union Square is working on a "4CD Peter Green box set, for release next June.The set will contain music spanning PG's entire career and will feature a nice big booklet with sleevenotes and lots of photos."

Union Square did the Slade reissues and the recent Procol Harum comp in advance of their PH reissues and box.
I haven't seen anything further on the Green box, so I hope it's still moving along and on schedule.

Thank you for taking the time out to look that stuff up for me. It's appreciated. I hope there will be some unreleased Fleetwood Mac gems that may have been recently discovered. I love the fact that they asked people to contribute bootlegs to the project. If none of us get the news here first, please post this when the the due date gets announced.
