I have been looking for some soundtrack albums for the longest time and realized there are people here who might be able to help!

The First thing I've been looking for is the FILM SOUNDTRACK to "Jacques Brel Is Alive And Living In Paris" NOT the various cast cd's that are fairly easy to find, but the movie music. I listened to this throughout my grade school years. Who would ever imagine that the tiny local library in rural Minnesota would have anything by Brel?

The 2nd thing I've been looking for is the Soundtrack to "The Rock Follies" the 70's British tv show, which was written by Andy McCay of Roxy Music. Again the pbs station in Minneapolis ran this show, once, while I was growing up. I actually bought the import LP (no easy task, given where I was living.) I would love to have "Glenn Miller is Missing" on my iPod.

Maybe you have either of these cds, or in the case of "Jacques...", a vinyl rip? Maybe you have seen them on your blog surfing? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time and any help you can contribute.

I never missed Rock Follies, which aired on PBS when I was away at college in the late 70s. I have the LP too; there was also a soundtrack for the follow-up, Rock Follies 77. Looks like both have been reissued on CD, and can be found at AmazWAN UK:

I remember her best for her stint on Doctor Who in 1984:

:ohno: sadly, i don't think the brel soundtrack was ever released on cd although it was released on vinyl. however, the movie with all the music was released on dvd a few years ago. while the movie is not all that great, it is one way to have this far superior version in a listenable format.
