It's the same change. Look near the top right of the page. View new posts (IMWAN) (ICE), and click on (IMWAN).

I'm having trouble with the new search function too--I clicked on the ICE link, and got the following message: "No suitable matches were found." When I clicked on "View New Posts," I got a page and a half of new posts, both ICE and IMWAN.

There's something wrong with it. It never brings up any active topics.

The first time I came to the new board, I saw red dots to indicate new posts/replies. I haven't seen them since, though their have been more posts.

That was my fault, Geff. When we moved to this software, I assumed Linda wanted to use the same color theme for the icons as the last version. My bad. Her vision was (is) to use a more subtle coloring scheme.
As such, unread threads/posts will be tagged with this icon:


Previously read (or marked read) threads will be tagged with this icon:

I like the new design, but is it possible to fix it so that threads tagged unread become untagged after logging out?

I think he means he'd like threads marked as "unread" to no longer be marked once he logs out, whether he's read them or not -- that way threads don't stay tagged "unread" forever. Do I have that right, Goog?

Man, I go away for a few days, and now I'm totally disoriented! Still, the changes aren't nearly as drastic as some we've experienced throughout ICE history.

That's a tough one to implement - it really comes down to personal choice. Personally, I prefer that unread topics stay unread until I've either read them, or marked them as read. I may not have to sit down and wade through 300 messages in one sitting, so I'll pop back in several times throughout the day and get caught up at my leisure.

Yes, you got it right, Ven. I find myself clicking on a conference in vain when I've already read what I want to read in a particular conference. It would save time for me, but it's not a big problem, really.
