Sad news from the world of The Sweet, Steve Priest the bassist for the group has passed away. I was lucky to see him live at the Gramercy in NYC a few years ago, great show with all the classics. RIP :(

With KISS, Sweet defined my teenage years. And like KISS, I still love their albums.
R.I.P. Had tickets to see his version of Sweet in March, but the show was canceled due to COVID. But now i hear he had been sick, so not sure if the show would have happened.

Yep that box set was a good one. One of those bands that changed over the years, bubblegum pop, glam rock, hard rock and then at least on one album prog r0ck.

Really big fan of the Sweet, and think they're really underrated. Now they're down to just Andy Scott left. A shame.
