Luckily my condo has wi-fi so my laptop works even down here in the Outer Banks.

We've had awesome weather so far. Saturday it was sunny and 100 degrees, then Sunday it cooled to 95, the last 2 days are a comfortable 80's.

The water is just off the hook! Its lowtide every day this week so everyone is out on a sandbar boogie boarding or hanging about in the warm turquoise ocean (water temps in the 80's).

We usually go to the beach each day from noon till 5PM and then get ready for dinner.

Last night I had crab-cakes at a local restaurant with a warm pecan tart for dessert. MMmmmmmmm!!! :D

Jetski'ing and go-cart racing is also planned this week.

If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend a vacation on the Outer Banks.

Thanks guys!

btw...it was another stellar day at the beach. Sunny and around 85 degrees, the ocean and the pool were getting lots of use today. Thank goodness I brought lots of tanning lotion.

Last night we did gas powered go-carts like are only found down in the South. These guys take their racing serious. The course was a pretty sophisticated (not just an oval track). I got stuck with a lousy car so even my daughter passed me! My wife said I looked sad and slow out there. Oh boy! :)
The kids had a ball.

Tonight its pizza at a local place thats owned by an ex-NYer. The pies here are darn good. We'll go and eat in there so our pie is fresh and hot. MMMmmmm!!

Then it will be more shopping. The girls love their shopping.

Got back into NY late last night. We had dinner at a classic NJ diner in Bayonne where my wife's mother lives (she was on the trip with us).

The ride back was nice. Lots of tunes on my IPOD make a 12 hour day very bearable.

And btw...while driving through Virginia Beach we heard Ringo's "No No Song" on a radio station there. That was a treat!!!

The weather has been great the entire week and now that we are back in NY the gorgeous weather has followed us. It is downright awesome right now. I love September weather.

Tomorrow I'm going back to the beach....our local Tobay Beach to celebrate the end of the Summer in style.

My kids start school on Wednesday. That day is better than Christmas to me. :)
