Saw the 2007 version of the Linkin Park Revolution Tour at Jones Beach last night featuring HIM/ Taking Back Sunday/ and My Chemical Romance.

Linkin Park was in great form. They are quite the arena act. Very powerful and have their rabid fans in the palm of their hands. The new album sounded great played live. LP is one of those bands thats even better live than the record.
What a voice Chester Bennington has.....wow!

btw...the final encore "Bleed It Out" is some closing song. Just an excellent live song.

I'd never heard HIM/ Taking Back Sunday/ or My Chemical Romance but I came away impressed not even knowing any of the songs.

MCR is very polished live. They put on a fantastic show on all levels.
TBS was also very good live. Nice boys from LI NY!!

I thought the heavy sound of HIM was also great.

I have some CDs to buy.:D

Sounds like a great time, John! I saw MCR in March with Rise Against and it was great! They played the whole "Black Parade" album and then an assortment of older hits. I also like HIM. I don't know too much about TBS, but my daughter loves them.

Oh yeah ... I also liked "Bleed It Out" when LP performed it on SNL!

I just saw Linkin Park at their historic first concert at Madison Square Garden NYC Thursday night.

Like usual, they were fantastic. What a band. Every song is a hit.

I had some fun with a drunk chick who sat next to me. She had alot of beer and was very friendly. At one point she drops her cell phone under my seat and we look for it in the dark. When we find it she gave me a kiss! First kiss I've gotten from someone under 40 in quite awhile. :D

Ah, the ol "Cell phone under the seat excuse" :Groucho:

My nephew went to that show and he said in his area they ejected some dude in a Red Sox shirt for being disorderly and a large "Boston Sucks" chant broke out. Were you anywhere near that action?
