I found one thing funny over there today. One guy put the cabosh on the Led Zep tour possibility. Says he has proof why it won't happen, but can't reveal it.

Whoda thunk this guy has more inside info than Jimmy Page himself??

It is a pleasure when threads get started over there about "lesser known" artists (eg Dar Williams, The Church) and a few dedicated fans emerge from the thousands of members and we actually get a good discussion going that does not use the term B**tl*s, Z*pp*l*n, D**rs, Br**n W*ls*n. It is tough to keep it on page one of the board as there are always more pressing matters like the 5000 plus posts about M*cc*as latest masterpiece of sh*t.

I love how they deleted Scott J's Soft Parade CDR post from their archives as soon as it was mentioned on Wiki. Nice how bootleg discussion/public CDR trading is strictly forbidden at SHtv., yet it's ok for Steve to sell CDRs for hundreds of dollars apiece. WTF? Kudos to the guy @StereoCentral for reporting him to the RIAA. :yay:

I'd never donate a dime to SH.tv- no way in hell is he not pocketing some if not most of that fundraising $. And BTW, does Gort KeithH have a stick up his a** or what? :roll:

The last two years the SH forum went downhill very fast.
Gorts are acting like they are above anybody and everything and most members can only talk the same old stuff over and over again.

In a nutshell the SHF:

Beatles are Gods
Yoko is a bitch
Bose sucks
CD's suck, or they must be mastered by SH
Vinyl is the only way a golden ear is allowed to listen to music
Forum rules are for members only, not for SH and the Gorts

On a serious note--I don't need another forum in which to run off at the typewriter about my ever-shifting musical tastes. I have this place!

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go back and work on Linda's Wikipedia entry some more. I'm going to add her to the "List of redheaded Nobel Prize winners". Let's see the Hoffia try and top that!
