Hmm ... what do they have planned for 2015 that will make it the Small Faces' year?
A picnic in late May, an amusement park outing in June, a weekend of movies in July, and a more formal dinner in a nice restaurant (you know, with flowers on the table, metal utensils, and the butter made into little roses) in August.
Rock stars are more like business men & women than the 'lets get out there and just play' approach it used to be. Rod Stewart should have been in it years ago when the momentum was on. Sad half the band are no longer here to enjoy the moment.

Yep, & will Rod be able to even pretend to be his old early 70's self?

If you mean will he return to taking cocaine anally, I hope not.

Then what are we supposed to talk about?

Rod Stewart's Kids Get Their Own Reality Show on E!
Kimberly and Sean Stewart, the children of Rod and his first wife, Alana Hamilton, are the stars of the series, called Stewarts & Hamiltons. Also appearing on the show is Ruby Stewart, Rod's daughter from his relationship with model Kelly Emberg.
Supporting players include permanently tan Hollywood icon George Hamilton, who is Alana's other ex-husband and best friend; their son Ashley Hamilton; and George Hamilton Jr., George's son from another relationship. Are you following all this?
In addition, the show will feature Ashley's girlfriend Ali Stepka, as well as Kim's live-in best friend, Dean Geistlinger. We assume that Kimberly's daughter Delilah -- Rod's granddaughter --will also be appearing, but it's not clear if Delilah's dad, Oscar-winning actor Benicio Del Toro, will have a part in the show.

Ron Wood Says Rod Stewart’s Management Is Holding Up the Faces Reunion
The surviving former Faces have dithered about getting back together for years, and even now that their ranks have been further thinned by the death of Ian McLagan, it seems that progress toward a reunion is slow. According to guitarist Ron Wood, most of the blame rests on Rod Stewart‘s management.
That’s what Wood told the audience at a recent fan Q&A, responding to a reunion query by saying Stewart’s representatives “make everything about money and we’re trying not to do that.”
Wood, who’s been an outspoken supporter of a reunion in recent years, went on to trigger cheers and applause from the crowd when he added, “Why can’t the three surviving guys from the Faces just get together and play for people? That’s what we want to try and do. I think that would be brilliant.”
His enthusiasm is shared by Faces drummer Kenney Jones, who expressed his own sense of urgency regarding a reunion earlier this year. “Rod, Woody and me are still going to do the Faces this year,” he vowed. “It’s more important now than ever.”
Rod Stewart has announced that 40 years after their breakup, the Faces will reunite on September 5 for a benefit concert supporting Prostate Cancer UK. Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, and Kenney Jones will play Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Ewhurst, Surrey.
Faces reunited in 2009 without Rod Stewart. When they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, Stewart planned to reunite with the band. However, Stewart was forced to skip the performance due to illness. Ian McLagan died last December; Ronnie Lane died in 1997.
Stewart and Jones discussed the reunion in a statement. "This year is the 40th anniversary since the Faces parted ways so it’s about time we got together for a jam," Stewart said. "Being in the Faces back in the day was a whirlwind of madness but my God, it was beyond brilliant. We are pleased to be able to support Prostate Cancer UK."
"This is the third Rock ‘n’ Horsepower we’ve put on for Prostate Cancer UK and it’s shaping up to be the biggest yet," Jones said. "The years of the Faces were some of the best of my life and I’m so proud to have been a part of the band. I’m unbelievably excited to have the opportunity to get up on stage with Rod and Ronnie again. Ronnie Lane and Ian McLagan will be dearly missed but we’ll raise a glass to them."
Definitely pretty late in the game; but it would still be great to hear the old (pre Warner Brothers solo artist) Rod Stewart & the pre- Keef sound alike Ron Wood if that indeed happens.
