I hope this isn't too large. If it is, maybe someone more tech savvy than I am could re-size.

Ha! This is the best comic strip ever! I'm wearing a Pearls shirt right now actually. I got to interview the creator Stephan Pastis a few years ago for the magazine I wrote for and he's an incredibly funny, nice, sincere guy. He also uses music to help me create-among the bands he loves are Pink Floyd and Radiohead-I can't remember who else he said.
There are about 6 or 7 books out now of Pearls including a new one released a few months ago (they're all on Amazon.com and are quite cheap)-if you appreciate a dark sense of humor, please get one and you will laugh quite a bit!

I got a good laugh when I read that in the comics this morning. Thanks Federico for sharing it with everybody!

Is it Beethoven's Fifth?

Is it Beethoven's Fifth?
It's R.E.M.'s "It's The End Of The World As We Know It". Not sure if you knew it or not, but for those that don't, the only words to the song that Pig and Rat (that's their names) know are Leonard Bernstein. Truly priceless-I doubt most of America understood the strip, but I again implore anyone with a great sense of humor to buy some Pearls books and you will laugh endlessly!

Thanks, Invisible, I remember that song, but not the lyrics. But the "Buh da da duhh" also matches the opening notes of Beethoven's Fifth!
