Not my ideal way of viewing a concert. Look at all the little ants down there.

What’s even worse, it looks like the people way up on top have to stand up during the concert!

Wonder if you can get a deal the day before or on the day using one of those tickets apps like Tick Pick? People probably buy tickets in advance and then can’t get to Vegas for varied reasons.

well, i finally got through ( about 3 hours) and the seats i wanted were $2100 each + fees and taxes.....moved back farther and up and tix were !400 + fees and taxes.

could have had 2 on very right side in the second balcony for $650 + fees and taxes.

i decided i might buy a riding lawnmower instead.

I believe Vegas in general has become very expensive post covid. When I was there back in 2017 it still was reasonable.

well john i can only tell you this, before covid

we used to buy a large pizza at the shop in paris for $20 the night we got there and finish it for breakfast..

after covid

same shop exact same pizza $40.....

and at gordan ramsey burgr in planet hollywood, 2 burgers, 1 order of fries and 1 drink each - $89.

the place is out of hand......my brother was there last week and said a meatball (1 large meatball) in the palazzo was $31 (and you had to pay extra if you wanted bread) and a burger with fries no drink $55.

taxi from the airport used to be $12, he paid $29 + tip.

A riding lawnmower would be better in 'the long run'. :)

I personally can't believe that 80% of restaurants/fast food joints are still in business with prices the way they are. I ordered a carryout pizza last weekend, probably the first time I've eaten any restaurant food this calendar year. I only did that because they are running a special where I got a few bucks off. And I went to pick it up...pre-virus I would have had it delivered. But since the price has gone up so much, I didn't want to kick in the extra money for a delivery fee and then add a tip on top of that. I remember the days when all the pizza joints had free delivery and the standard tip was $1 per pizza. I obviously expect that to me more now, but if they really want me to pay a $5 delivery fee and throw in a $5 tip for a $20 dollar pizza....that isn't happening.

Pizza for me is now an economic indicator. If the powers that be actually reduce prices like they say they will and I can get a cheese pie once again for around $10-12 I would believe. Instead a pie around here with a topping tops out near $25-30. The pizza didn’t get any better.
