I was just listening to my "Roy Wood - Singles" compilation, and listening to the Move's "Tonight," it occurred to me: Ulysses Adrian Wood would have made an AWESOME Wilbury.

I don't mean that in the sense that he'd have a great deal of creative synergy with the other Wilburys (obviously, he'd had enough of working with Nelson/Jeff).

I mean that in the sense of Galactus versus a dinosaur. Just AWESOME.

Since Roy consumes everything in his path (creatively ), the Wilburys would have sounded fairly different. I imagine something like Roy's '80s album (Starting Over? can't remember the title offhand) ... slick but quirky. But Roy would be gone by now due to the "Wilbury Curse".
