Well, the Eagles have won 7 straight and continue to play fantastic all the way across the board.

What Barkley did last night was unreal.

302 total yards and 255 rushing with 2 TDs of more than 70 yards.

The offensive line is elite, even with the retired Jason Kelce gone.

The defense under Fangio is playing elite as well, but losing Eagles legend Brandon Graham for the year is so sad.

He’s played in more games than any Eagle in history and at 36 was playing out of his mind, including last night.

The D had 4 sacks last night as well.

AJ Brown had 9 catches and a TD and 106 yards and Hurts is playing mistake-free.

Next up is Baltimore which will be a challenge.

This season has been a blast so far!

Saquon is loving that offensive line. Just shows you how important a OL is for the QB and the running backs, the NY Giants have been putrid for years now.

At this rate I would guess one can hope for.a Detroit Lions/ Eagles NFC Championship game.

I just wrote this on a Colts blog I frequent to the fans who were blaming Jonathan Taylor for the lack of a running game over the past couple games (instead of a heavily injured offensive line starting three rookies).

I wrote:
Just looked this up for anyone trying to put the running game on JT --

Saquon Barkley last year with a mediocre Giants offensive line - 3.9 YPC and 69 YPG.

Saquon Barkley this year with an elite Eagles offensive line - 6.2 YPC and 127 YPG.

JT has already shown what he can do and continues to show it when he's actually got a hole that lets him get past the line of scrimmage.

I had a great time at the Bears' game. It was a super exciting game, but sadly the Bears lost in overtime. My buddy, Jose and I had a great time (even if he rooted for the Vikings  ).

Great photo, thanks for posting. Very happy that you and Jose enjoyed the game and stayed safe.

The Bears interim offensive coordinator is now the interim head coach. Good for Thomas Brown, I can remember when he was the running backs coach for the Wisconsin Badgers about 10 years ago. Now he has gone from offensive passing game coordinator to offensive coordinator to NFL head coach in about 1 month. Pretty nice rise up the ladder. Maybe the Bears groundskeeper can be the new playcaller for the offense. The Bears making a strong run at the Jaguars, Browns and Giants to be the NFL's most dysfunctional organization.

So, those have been 4 ugly, ugly NFL football games:
- the best game on paper ended up the biggest blowout, and we're never not gonna hear about Tua in cold weather
- back up QB's all over the field. 3/8 teams on the third string
- Dallas wins, but there was a lot of uncertainty. Against the Giants....
- KC does not a lot, and escapes because of a rookies over enthusiasm, assuming the raiders kicker didn't miss a 4th field goal
- Detroit escapes because of clock management so egregious, the Bears coach is gone less than 24 hours later.

Love looked good, Williams looked good, O'Connell looked okay. but folks, that was some bad football. I think everyone was in a turkey coma over the last 36 hours.

Happy thanksgiving, Football fans.

The Jets are always leaders in dysfunction! :D

They just dominated the Ravens... I agree he's a buffoon, but he seems to be a good head coach?

Go early. I was trying to get through past Soldier Field at around 10:30 AM and it was wall to wall traffic and all the tailgating lots were jammed. Took longer to get the one mile than it did to get to Merrillville after. I assume football fans start tailgating at 8 or 9 AM (I only watch on TV, unless someone were to give me free tickets)

Merrillville! What were you doing in my neck of the woods? :)

I was heading to Lincoln Park area for a concert. I just got stuck in football traffic the next day. :)

Colts barely escape with a victory over the Patriots thanks to a clutch game-winning drive and a whole lot of luck. The Pats outgained the Colts 422 yards to Indy's 253 but settled for one too many field goals in the red area, plus missing an easy chip shot field goal at the end of the first half and giving the Colts an insanely flukey INT. Weird how the defense played respectably against Detroit, Buffalo and Minnesota but then made Drake Maye look like Tom Brady.

I was hoping they'd cruise to an easy victory against a bad team, but I apparently forgot the Colts are a bad team as well.

And how about this insane TD by Josh Allen last night! Play of the year so far (that I can recall, anyway) --

He really is awesome. Hopefully the Bills finally get their Super Bowl.

I’m still in shock that the Jets had a 21-7 lead and were in the Red Zone and could have put the game away but Rodgers throws a INT to Leonard Williams of all people who then runs all the way downfield for a TD!
Leonard was drafted by the Jets years ago (a #6).
And that was Rodgers first Red Zone INT in his career. What a bad time for that to happen.
And then of course the Jets end up losing the game despite an early big lead. :(

The only good news is they will blow this all up soon but we still have Woody.

It was also the first time a Rodgers led team lost when up by 14 at home.

I’m completely bemused by this Seahawks team. Oh, and the special teams coordinator needs to be fired.
