So sad. Rest in peace, Dan. Such a distinctive voice.
One of my favorite Nazareth tracks is "Holiday" from 1980, a departure from their heavier sound. The music video was played often in the early days of MTV.

Nazareth is one of my all-time favorite groups and I always loved Dan’s vocals. Was so lucky to see them here in NY a few times, I used to drag Jimbo along with me.

Don't forget their live album, 'Snaz. A great live album. Dan's vocals are especially raspy on that which adds to it all. Love that album. Heart’s Grown Cold is there and better than the studio version, imo.
