Is it just me, or is Jules/Gary Alexander (upper-right) a dead ringer for creepy character actor Joey Slotnick?

I think you have to be exactly 59 years old to appreciate this question.

He and Ming-Na Wen (as she was known then) were hilarious as Sam and Trudy on The Single Guy, the Jonathan Silverman vehicle that aired on Thursdays on NBC back in the mid-'90s! They were about the only thing that made the show worth watching. I think that Sam was even a music producer or engineer.

Later he was on Nip/Tuck and wanted to trade faces with Christian Troy by cutting off each of their faces. (without anesthetic)

He also played the high school teacher sleeping with a student on Boston Public. His last five years of creepy definietly outweigh his hilarity from eight or nine years ago.

Haven't listened to them in at least 25 years - Along Comes Mary is my favorite - they can sing faster than my ears can listen. Hated Cherish. What ever became of them? Have their GH on both LP and CD (bought the CD 10 -15 years ago - haven't listened to it yet)

Larry Ramos and Russ Guigere still tour, with Larry's brother Del and Brian (original bassist) Cole's son, and a couple other new guys. If they're gonna be on a PBS special or something, Jules Alexander, Jim Yester and Ted Bluechel have been known to turn out.

Their complete catalog is still available from Collectors' Choice. I just need "Goodbye, Columbus", and I'm done! Favorite song: "Never My Love".

Are those the 2000 Japanese remasters? How are the volume levels?

I voted for the Larry era. "Windy" was one of my 45s back in the day.

Does anyone from the Boston area remember the song parody "Gumby" that used to play on WBCN? The only lyrics I can remember are:
Who's kicking down the streets of the city
Riding an orange horse named Po-key
....
And Gumby has limbs that bend
And he has a slanted head
...
Boy if anyone had those lyrics I would be eternally grateful.
So I'm voting Larry era because I love Windy, Never My Love and Gumby
