One thing about the Eagles this year, they have a clear road to winning the NFC East and going deep into the playoffs, it’s virtually guaranteed. They tend to play really well early in the season that I have seen but the competition this year (hello Cowboys) is very weak.

Will you look at that? Wentz and Flacco throwing the ball around.

Meanwhile, Pete Carroll thinks Geno Smith is going to be the next Russell Wilson.

Now we know the Eagles secret weapon!

She's gorgeous but I feel bad for that dude -- for all we know, he was just glancing over quickly, but now people are goofing on him like he's a stalker.

Tua is the bigger surprise than either, but let's see where they are by the end of the season. Or even the middle of the season.

The issue with the Colts offense, besides lack of big-time WR talent, seems to be the decline of their offensive line.

Quote:
The unit is supposed to be the backbone of the offense, the engine behind one of the most dynamic run games in the league. The Colts are paying that position group a collective $42.2 million this season, the most of any offensive line in football, and they’ve allowed 18 quarterback hits and seven sacks on Ryan in eight quarters plus an overtime.

They’re struggling against stunts and twists, whiffing versus speed on the edge and consistently failing to give Ryan time in the pocket. As for Jonathan Taylor, the league’s runaway rushing champ last season? It didn’t seem like he had a single hole to run through on Sunday.

The Colts are averaging just 1.49 yards before contact on 51 rushing attempts in two games, per TruMedia, their lowest since 2017 — the year before Reich arrived. That speaks to the lack of push the line’s getting up front. What’s more, defenses aren’t even having to load the box to slow down Taylor — only 25.5 percent of the Colts’ runs this year have come against heavy boxes (eight or more defenders), compared to 43.1 percent last season. In fact, every year of the Reich era has been north of 35.9 percent.

All told, even with Taylor’s talent in the backfield, 27.5 percent of the Colts’ runs have gone for zero or negative yards, the fifth-worst rate in the league. That’s one out of every four runs going absolutely nowhere.

Well, the current Russell Wilson looks abominable so far, but I 100% agree with you.

Pete will also sing the praises of Lock, and he is garbage.

Will Walker be a factor soon?

He was a beast at Michigan State and Penny is due to get hurt sometime soon.

Lots of really good matchups this Sunday! I will be of course watching Cincinnati at NY Jets, who surprisingly squashed the Bengals last year with Mike White. Dallas at NY Giants this Monday night.

Miami over Buffalo is a bit of a shocker but the Fins have been playing very well so far. It was also very hot in Miami.

Baltimore over Pats up in NE is a bit of a shocker but the Ravens are a good team.

Indy over KC is always a surprise when the Chiefs lose.

The Eagles are now the top dog in the NFC East for sure. We just have to see if they also destroy the Giants in a few weeks.

The Jets stunk today and Joe Burrow looks great. We needed Mike White. :D

And the Vikings were stinking up Minneapolis until late in the 4th quarter over Detroit.

I keep reading that the Chiefs gave this game to the Colts and in some ways they did -- but the only TDs they scored were off of two Matt Ryan fumbles, so you could also argue that the Colts gave the Chiefs every chance to win. Indy's offensive line was PUTRID and Ryan has been scrambling for his life on nearly every dropback.

The Chiefs are the better team and they likely win 9 times out of 10 -- but this was that tenth time, I guess!

Eagles are 3-0 and sacked that loser Wentz 9 times.

NINE!

Hurts is looking more and more a star every day and Smith and Brown are an unstoppable duo at WR.

Doug Pederson and a much improved Jacksonville are in Philly next (I have Jax in the playoffs).

Man Tua has a rough couple of days, they really need to give him a few weeks off. So now there is only 1 undefeated team after the Dolphins fell. So who will be the team that beats the Eagles? Usually it’s a team in their own division (the toughest games).

Could be this week with their old Super Bowl-winning coach in town and a much improved Jaguars team.

I still think the Eagles win, but I feel it will be a bit hairy at times.

Trevor Lawrence hasn’t seen a D like this yet.

Gannon’s style is not blitz much, but he did it to Cousins with great results, and I’d expect to see a bit more on Sunday too.

As for Tua, that was brutal and there’s no way he should’ve even come back last week.

There’s going to be something very interesting coming out of the investigation.

No matter what, that was scary, and I wish him well.

Tee Higgins is a beast for the Bengals.

I was right about the Eagles game.

It was hairy and they did win 29-21 to stay undefeated.

They decimated Lawrence, who had FIVE turnovers.

It was cold, rainy, windy and miserable and they came back from 14-0 down.

I wonder how often the locals roll their eyes every time tourists come to recreate that shot.
