the local news just beat the browns up all night long.

and they deserve it, right down to the missed extra point.

steelers come to cleveland thursday, we'll see what this team is made that night for sure. just too bad no one without amazon prime will be able to watch it.

If you're in Cleveland or Pittsburgh, there's a good chance the game will also be on a local broadcast.

Well, looks like the Colts have hit rock bottom. Not sure what to think anymore.

Quote:
Lawrence’s last two outings versus the Colts: 48-for-62 (77 percent), 458 yards, four touchdowns, no picks and a 116.6 rating.

His career rating against every other team: 71.2.

Maybe it wasn’t all Wentz’s fault there, they seem to under perform every season and JAX is kryptonite to them.

I’ve never seen such a turnaround in 1 minute. When the Jets got the ball back with about a minute even I figured the game was well over and then suddenly Corey Davis is wide open, very wide open.

Good showing by two rookies Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson on the Jets, we do have some good young talent.

I still think letting him go was the right move, but clearly he wasn't the number one reason they failed last year as I've been led to believe.

Everyone deserves blame, of course, but right now, I think it has to fall more with Ballard than Reich. Coaches develop game plans but players win games. We've seen what the Patriots are like with and without Tom Brady. And even when he was there, they only won titles when he was on a good overall team.

You can call any play you want but if the players you sign can't execute it, no amount of cleverness from the playcaller is going to sustain you through 60 minutes of football.

Watching these games, the problems seem to be the same outside of Matt Ryan (the jury is still out for me -- what QB is going to succeed when they're pressured instantly and have Ashton Dulin as their top target?).

1) No WR or TE outside of Michael Pittman can get pen consistently. Anyone could see that if he went down, they essentially have no playmaker at either position. But Ballard insisted this group was ready for primetime.

2) No pass pressure, play after play. There were some premium pass rushers available early in FA, but Ballard decided to gamble on a one-year deal. Now it might still work out, it's only been two games, but I can't say it's looking great at the moment.

But the offense is clearly the issue. The defense isn't great but even if they were, your offense needs to average more than 10 points a game for you to have a chance to win.

You seen the last two (or first two) Tampa outings? It's embarrassing for Brady fans. His cast isn't all that good so far. At least that's how it looks to me.

I don't follow them, but they're 2-0 and leading their division, so it seems better than the Colts right now, LOL.

Yesterday showed why football rules and other sports drool. Fantastic finishes to multiple games like the Jets, the Cardinals, the Dolphins, the LA Rams and the Cowboys game. There is a reason why it’s #1.

What's everybody's prediction for the Vikes and Philly tonight?

I would give the Eagles the advantage because they are home and usually play well early in the season.

The look of absolute shock that the Jets pulled that game out.

That’s kind of a dickish thing to say. He’s got health issues.

Once again, the Vikings embarrass their fans on MNF.

It never ceases to amaze me. It doesn’t seem to matter who the QB is or who the HC is. The Vikings will find a way to lose.

I was very pleased with the Eagles crushing of Minnesota, because the Viking are a pretty good team.

Hurts is truly dynamic and unstoppable for now.

Slay had 2 INTs and should’ve had 4.

The Eagles totally shut down Jefferson and Cook.

AJ Brown and Devonta Smith are an awesome combo.

It’s early though.

Cousins was horrible as always.

He’s now 2-10 on MNF and 8-18 in prime time games.

$35 million this year.

Ouch.

The Vikes should be better as the year goes along.
