That's not something that's going to make for a championship team. Lovie has been around, including his time with the Chicago Bears. Is he done coaching? I certainly think he's done being a head coach.

I certainly think he's done being a head coach. Oh Da Bears GM knows picking one player won't help which is why he's open to trading the number one pick down to a QB needy team for multiple picks. Hail last year he traded down multiple times and inflated his pick numbers to eleven. Just today Indy's GM said he would move mountains for a crack at a franchise quarterback and Chicago would be more than willing to trade with him for multiple future first and second rounders. Just look at how much The 49ers had to give up to move to just slot three to get Trey Lance; The Rams to get Jarred Goff at one; The Browns to get Mayfield. And if The Colts aren't interested then The Raiders, Panthers, Falcons, Titans, team that plays in Washington, Jets, and Texans (to name a few) would be up for a deal. That's the beauty of having the first overall pick and not needing a QB! On top of controlling the draft Chicago's going into the off-season with the most cap space in the league! If The Bears FO doesn't screw it up they will be a force to reckon with very soon. https://twitter.com/zkeefer/status/1612842837531365376?cxt=HHwWgMC4mf-A_OEsAAAA

Eagles finish 14-3 with the best record in football.
Finished the season sluggish, but I’d say 14-3 is amazing, and they had no Hurts, Gardner-Johnson, Lane Johnson, Swwat and Maddox all of whom are irreplaceable.
Hurts played in pain Sunday and was rusty, so I hope the upcoming rest helps.
The Eagles had an insane total of four players with 10 or more sacks, led by Reddick with 16!
TJ Edwards also had 160 tackles.
AJ Brown broke Mike Quick’s team receiving yard record total in a season and there’s plenty more numbers.
All that matters now is the playoffs.

Remember, this is the team that traded UP to get Mitch Trubisky at No. 2, when they could have had Patrick Mahomes (No. 10) or Deshaun Watson (No. 12). Never, ever underestimate the ability of the Bears FO to screw it up. They've had the No. 1 twice before in their history... here's how they turned out: https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/b ... story.html

Never, ever underestimate the ability of the Bears FO to screw it up. They've had the No. 1 twice before in their history... here's how they turned out: https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/b ... story.htmlThe GM that drafted Trubisky got sacked last season; there's a new sheriff in town now. Almost nobody saw Mahomes blowing up to be the stud he would become. And part of the reason is he came into an almost perfect situation for a young QB; genius offensive head coach and an established team that was already winning before hand. Now Watson yes, that was a screw up. Even Chi's then coach wanted him over Mitch but Ryan Pace was so enamored with Trubs that he went behind his coaches back and drafted him anyway. But considering where Watson is now...I'm not that bummed out about Da Bears passing on him. Ryan Poles is a first time GM, coming from many successful programs so its too premature to say if he is legit or another failure. His first year he's had to tear down his predecessor's team to have a chance to put a quality one together and free up cap space, which he's done. Now is his time to show if he can put a good squad together. RP has done some things right and has made some screw ups which all GMs do, especially one in his first year. And I'm not going to bother addressing something that happened over 70 years ago, because no one involved with the team now wasn't even alive. I'm judging Poles on his actions which start this off-season.

Well, he said he'd do whatever it takes to draft a QB that he believes in -- but he also said people shouldn't be surprised if the Colts don't take a QB this year. He's often said you can't force it at the position, you have to take one you believe in rather than drafting the best one available because you need one. For every Patrick Mahomes, there's a Zach Wilson, Josh Rosen, Dwayne Haskins, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Johnny Maziel, etc. Ballard is notoriously conservative so I doubt anyone is getting multiple first and second rounders from Indy, especially considering the value of the #4 pick (which is more valuable than what the Niners traded with -- which now looks like it might be an awful mistake). That said, other teams are definitely more aggressive and might give Chicago a lot more than Indy would. But people are making crazy trades all the time, who the heck knows. I think if there's a QB he thinks could be a top ten QB in the NFL, he'd make a nutty trade -- but the question is whether or not he thinks any of the QBs in the draft have that potential. Indy clearly needs one, but it's hardly the only hole on their roster. It's going to be an interesting draft.

Lots of teams missed out because he was supposed to be too short (6-0 3/8) and too slow (4.77 40-yard dash on what used to be a fast track at Wisconsin) to ever be much of an NFL player. Glad to see him doing well.

Glad to see him doing well. I remember hearing those things when the Eagles drafted him. He’s so good, determined and deceptively quick with his reads. Kyzir White, another unheralded player had 115 tackles as well. This Eagles D is unbelievable, and I think it’s clear that the DC Gannon will be a head coach soon. I think the team has around 70 sacks.

Predictions for the weekend? I guess I’m corny, I imagine I’m picking all favorites here:
Jags over Chargers Bills over Dolphins Vikes over Giants Bengals over Ravens Cowboys over Bucs

No lead in the NFL is safe. It used to be that a comeback like this was once every blue moon. Now I feel like we’re seeing it every other week. Crazy.

Doug Pederson is the man.
I still miss him here in Philly.
Lawrence throws FOUR picks followed by FOUR TDs!
Insanity.
And the two-point conversion call thanks to Bosa being a Bozo was daring as hell.
I predicted the Jags would make the playoffs in September and I felt like a fool for a while, but here they are with one of the greatest comebacks in history.
And every time I question Brock Purdy, the dude just rolls over defenses with ease.
SF may have a real gem there.

Classic Vikings.
Better to lose today than in SF next week I guess.
The Vikings had better fire the defensive coordinator tomorrow.
