Buffalo is going to the Super Bowl.

I’d be shocked if they don’t get there.

LA looked completely outclassed, but Kupp is a demon.

Allen did everything he wanted and Diggs and Davis were excellent.

The Bills D-Line was unstoppable.

Stafford was putrid, but his O-Line, RBs and WRs (aside from Kupp) were horrendous.

I tuned in only for halftime to see Ozzy.
They showed him for about 15 seconds.

Aaron got his ass handed to him by the 'new' Minnesota Vikings.

If the Vikes keep on like this for the rest of the season, it's playoffs. I'm liking what the new coach and defensive coordinator brought to the table. Zimmer had a very talented team and blew it. O'Connell is going to capitalize on this talent.

Of course, this is the Vikings. They don't exist in here. :giggle:

Yep the Vikings killed!

My Jets were the same old Jets but we did learn that Joe Flacco is not the answer so we await Zack Wilson's return.

The NY Giants showed a lot of gumption at the end of the game and get a win for Brian Dabol. Very nice!

We might be seeing a resurgence of the NFC Worst.

Dallas might as well forfeit the rest of the season.

I love the one comment on Dallas' Facebook page (where they're getting roasted).

"Calm down people. It's the first game of the season, there is PLENTY of disappointing games to come. We need to conserve our energy."

Saquon Barkley had a huge game and out played Derrick Henry with 18 carries for 164 yards, A TD and clutch 2 point conversion. The Giants are 1-0 for the first time in forever.

I was pulling for them, the Colts needed the Titans to lose after tying (ugh) with the lowly Texans. Thank God they're in the shitty AFC South or they wouldn't have a shot at sniffing the layoffs, LOL.

I guess Wentz did okay with the Commanders (such a lame name), fans got to see the good and the bad -- four TDs and two picks. Sounds about right.

Buffalo is the class of the AFC East now and all roads will go through Orchard Park instead of Foxboro.

Though the Jets lost, i do see talent, they just need to get their QB Of The Future going pronto, Flacco is not it. The defense was a lot better (despite 6he score), new CB Gardner did a Revis, he was on a island. Liked some of the moves of Garrett Wilson. Eventually Breece Hall will get going.

It’s more the coaches who are failing at this point but it’s just the first game.

The NY Giants looked like the same old Giants for the first half but showed gumption and pulled out an nice win. If Barkley is back, they have something. Daniel Jones still looks like Daniel Jones.

Surprising that the Fish pounded the Pats pretty good. Maybe they are the second best in the AFC East.

Oh and the Cowboys suffered a major blow last night, they were stinking the place up as it was but without Dak for most of the season? Ouch.

So it looks like the Eagles will easily win the NFC East with the Commanders and Giants fighting for second place.

Mystery why the Colts didn't find a new kicker. I don't get it.

Quote:
Blankenship has now made 83.3% of his 54 attempts in the NFL — a number that might have been solid a couple of decades ago, but is now on the low end of NFL accuracy — and he has a penchant for missing big ones.

Blankenship missed a 33-yarder against Buffalo in the playoffs, missed three kicks against the Ravens last season, has made just 3 of 8 in his career from 46 yards or longer. On two of his 50-yard attempts, Blankenship came up short, missing because his foot hit the ground before the ball. He's made one game-winning field goal, to beat Green Bay in 2020, but he's now missed more than he's made.

Colts and Reich are definitely in a weird space when you consider the numbers.

They're in the top ten for teams that have scored the most points in the past three years, but don't have anything to really show for it.

After yesterday, the Colts are ranked #1 for yards, with 517 on the day. Matt Ryan is ranked #2 for passing yards after the first game with 352. Colts are #6 for rushing offense with 177.

Only 20 points. It's bizarre that year after year, with different quarterbacks, that the Colts can't do anything with these high-producing offenses.

Quote:
Ryan — a 15-year veteran — fumbled two snaps and lost another. Rookie Alec Pierce dropped a sure-bet touchdown; Ashton Dulin dropped another. (The lingering concerns about the Colts’ lack of depth at receiver? For one game at least, they feel legitimate. Think where that group would be without Michael Pittman Jr., who was a monster on Sunday with nine catches for 121 yards and a touchdown.)

Smith played about as awful a half as he ever has as a pro, and for most of the afternoon, the interior of the offensive line wasn’t much better. Ryan was hit seven times. Credit Jonathan Taylor (161 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries); he’s as good as any at finding yards that aren’t there.

Hines fumbled a punt late, only to be saved by teammate Isaiah Rodgers, who recovered it.

Then there’s the kicker. Rodrigo Blankenship booted two kickoffs out of bounds in the fourth quarter and overtime, twice gifting the Texans offense the ball on its own 40-yard-line, then pushed a potential game winner from 42 yards wide right in overtime.

It never had a chance.

Eagles win a wild one over Detroit 38-35.

Hurts was excellent (90 yards rushing and a TD and 243 passing with no turnovers) and all 3 RBs had TDs (Sanders, Gainwell, Scott).

Bradberry had a pick-6 TD.

AJ Brown was a beast with 10 catches for 155.

He’s one of the best route-runners around.

But WTF with a very good D looking abysmal against the Lions.

Yes, the Lions are better and Swift is awesome, but that was garbage yesterday.

The ineptitude of the Broncos, the play calling, the 13 penalties, the two fumbles at the 1 yard line and the hideous clock management all game was hilarious.

And yeah, let’s waste valuable time, then call a time out on 4th and 5 and not use Wilson, but attempt a 64 yard FG for the win?

Truly one of the worst coaching jobs in history for one game.

And Wilson was not looking great either.

I chock up a lot of yesterday’s wackiness with the lack of a real pre-season. It’s the first most of these starters have actually played together. The games will improve in 2 weeks….

How about that Geno Smith! Amazing he is still around.

Geno Smith was straight ballin' yesterday, I couldn't believe how well he played. Good for him, hope it works out.
