When they talk about the greatest of all time, here is the man- 11 championships in 13 years. Nobody comes even remotely close to that.

From the beginning, he was focused on only one thing... winning. He always eschewed the comparison to Wilt on personal stats, and instead turned any conversation to... winning. You're right, nobody will ever come remotely close to his record of winning championships.

Anyone else here remember when Bill Russell did the color commentary for ABC when they carried the NBA on Sunday afternoons? He was always teamed with Chris Schenkel or Keith Jackson.
