Does anyone have a blu ray player hooked up to their stereo receiver that has the Amazon music app? I have a Samsung blu ray player that has the Amazon video app, but doesn't have the music app. I'd like to get a blu ray player that does have the Amazon MUSIC app, so I can enjoy Amazon music through my stereo, which has an older receiver.

OK, i am the least techie guy in this whole place, but my blue ray player connects to the internet (i think yours does to if you have the amazon app as you say)

shouldn't you be able to just open the amazon app and listen to amazon music form the website?

and i apologize if what i said is way off base.

My current Samsung player does not have an internet browser. It just has preinstalled apps. There is a Vewd app store, but no option for Amazon Music app.

If you don't mind me asking, what blu ray player do you have? You access Amazon music through it's web browser?

Yeah, the older Sony probably does not have the Amazon music app or the ability to stream Amazon music. I know an older Sony blu ray I have no longer is able to access Amazon. I just talked to customer service and they said they don't sell any blu ray players that have the Amazon music app. The person was not very helpful and kind of short with me. I play youtube videos and music through my Samsung blu ray that is hooked up to my receiver and it sounds really good. I wanted to try Amazon's HD music on my stereo as well, but I can't access it. I wanted a Blu ray that is wired to my receiver that plays Amazon music, but I guess I am out of luck.
