Meat Loaf wasn't that healthy all around. Apparently, he struggled with asthma and had many back surgeries. The articles I read said it was unclear whether he was vaccinated but he was against mandates. I wore my mask all the time before I got COVID with pneumonia. I have asthma, so it attacked my lungs and I ended up in a coma on a ventilator. Lucky for me I still here but I'm 18 years younger than Meat Loaf. By the way, this was before vaccines. So, I can't blame anyone for contracting a virus. God Bless, Meat Loaf.

All this bullshit of mask shaming and vaccine shaming is getting real fucking old. The man died. Leave it at that. Karma has a nasty way of getting back at people that insist on shaming.

Agreed, but the flip as well. Tired of hearing people at school boards acting like complete assholes, and then wilting like lettuce when countered (and their kids don't even give a shit.). Pity their home owner associations were not having meetings so they can go back to complaining about the color of their neighbor's fence.

Meat Loaf collapsed at a show here a few years ago - outdoors, hot and humid. Asthma attack. They said he finished the show (I didn't remember that part of it).

I don't think it matters one way or the other if he was against masks or vaccinations. He had his reasons and that's all there is to it. The bottom line is he's dead and millions of fans around the world are grieving because of it. He was an excellent singer who made overblown overwrought music at its finest. There will never be another quite like him again and that's the real tragedy.
