DH was inevitable, I'll live with it. Made up for by restoring proper 9-inning doubleheaders and getting rid of that ludicrous extra innings runner on 2nd.
I like the expanded 12-team playoffs. Actually, I'd prefer 14 or even 16 teams. Hopefully they'll start talking about expansion and realignment now.

I'd certainly like to see 32 teams, but I can't really get behind having 1/2 of the total teams make it to the play offs unless, maybe the "lesser" of the 16 teams first had to battle it to the real playoffs.

Well, not LFGM for me. But I agree with you on the other points.
Mets have announced that the long-awaited Tom Seaver statue will be unveiled before their home opener at Citi Field on April 15th. This coincides with Jackie Robinson Day, but can't be helped since the entire schedule was pushed back.
Cohen says he's rethinking the inappropriate "Jackie Robinson Rotunda" that the Wilpons made for the entrance to Citi Field, and I suspect that will be some kind of museum and another statue (with an unveiling on a a future Jackie Robinson Day).
Uncle Steve is not only okay with paying a luxury tax, he voted in favour of it. He clearly has no intention of letting it restrict the Mets' spending:
I still need a few seconds when reading baseball news when I see a headline involving The Guardians. I'm like, who… did I click a basketball link accidentally or what?
1. Disrespecting the Raspberries 2. Harbouring the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 3. Choosing a baseball team name that wasn't anybody's first, second or even tenth choice
The Yankees are acquiring 3B Josh Donaldson, SS Isiah Kiner-Falefa and C Ben Rortvedt from the Twins in exchange for C Gary Sánchez and INF Gio Urshela, per source. No money is changing hands in the trade.
How do you like Donaldson? So far, Yankee fans on reddit and YouTube don't like it.

you're getting 3/4 of an MVP calibre third baseman, who is going to rub anyone who isn't 100% dedicated to winning the wrong way. but if he plays 120 games a year due to injury, I'll be surprised.
