Being a paisan my grandmother used to say "mangia" (as well as the toast "Cent'anni," 100 years!) and would then serve up a full Italian dinner THEN a full turkey dinner. All from scratch, all from memory. I make her Italian wedding soup every Thanksgiving. Best wishes to all today!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. And many thanks to my brother Jimmy for introducing me to all of you. We got stuffed at 2:00 with ham and turkey, and then restuffled around 6:30. Nice gathering of nine at my friends home, Judy and Barry. I wonder what we will have for lunch and dinner tomorrow.
