Was lucky to see him in concert many times over the years in a variety of settings and groups. Last time was in Boston at the great Scullers club fifteen or so years ago. Sat six feet from him on stage and we were so close we could hear his pick pluck the strings from our seats. Was a huge thrill to meet him after the show too. Is very sadly missed.
