i have never heard, nor even seen, the final 2 hollies albums: 'staying power' (2006) and 'then, now and always' (2009)

The title track of Then, Now, Always is probably the most Hollies-esque, sung by Tony Hicks and written by Bobby Elliott:

The rest of the music from the two last albums is pretty good, taken on its own merits, but not really comparable to the Allan Clarke years.

If you like Gregg Alexander of New Radicals fame, who had that hit with "You Get What You Give", and who co-wrote the Santana / Michelle Branch song "Game Of Love", The Hollies' album "Staying Power" features 3 of Gregg's other later songs. They're pretty good, but I haven't bought these last 2 albums yet, it's a bit hard for me to accept them as The Hollies...
