I used to tell a joke, a really bad one I made up, for a lady I had a severe crush on back when I was going to school at the University of Oregon. She had a big thing for Dr. Suess and I had my thing for music and her (which I kept a secret from her even though she had to have known). Well, she used to keep talking about what Horton heard when he heard a Who. So, she repeated it one day. She said, "What did Horton hear when he heard a Who?" I replied, "He heard that damn Pete Townshend again and he was playing those SG's and HiWatt amps way too loud again!" She smiled afterwards. BTW, Diane? If you're reading this somewhere out there, could you please somehow find a way to get a hold of me? I miss you terribly.
