Looks like the Browns are out of the running, so it's time to kiss and make up with Mayfield?

Relationships tend to end very quickly once one party tries to date someone else. Even if they didn't close the deal. If I were the Browns, I'd try and trade Baker at or before the draft; the fish is dead, time to get rid of it before it starts to rot.

Baker Mayfield just told ESPN: “It’s in the mutual interest of both sides for us to move on. The relationship is too far fine to mend. It’s in the best interests of both sides to move on.”

Mayfield to Seattle?

Speaking of fuck ups, the LV Raiders have acquired Davante Adams from the Green Bay Packers for Multiple first round picks, potentially other stuff, and signed him to a 5 year, 28.25 million per year deal, making him the highest paid WR in history.

Also continues the campaign of Mutually Assured Destruction in the AFC West, where all 4 teams will finish 3-3 against other teams in the division, 9-7 over all, and miss the playoffs as a result

Yikes thats crazy!

So far my NY Jets have been smart and have filled needs through free agency (2 TE's one who was just on the Bengals). So they can draft best available without being over concerned with O line or the secondary.

less crazy than i thought - Adams and Carr were teammates in college, and Adams moved to Vegas over the summer.

Despite reports of them being eliminated, now they're reporting that Deshaun Watson has chosen to go to the Browns.

Jeez can these guys (hello Tom Brady) make up their ever loving minds! When Baker is moved he will be the third QB in NFL history to be picked #1 and then not survive with the team that picked him. But man will the AFC be a beast now with Watson joining the party.

Watson should play with Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, and Vick in a league far, far away from Earth.

Pete, we signed one of your old players, Jordan Hicks. I don't recall anything regarding him. Will he be a good addition to the Vikes? Remember, we're moving to a 3-4 defense this coming season.

the airways are a-buzzin here in northeast ohio.

it's like mayfield never even existed.

the whole area is excited like i haven't seen since the cavs got lebron. it will certainly be quite interesting if watson is found guilty and suspended for a year or 2, won't it?

now, the question is where will mayfield end up.....all indications form the news is that indy has the inside track.

I think he can help Minnesota in the 3-4.

He’s an excellent tackler, drops back in coverage well and can get to the QB when needed.

He made some big plays with the Eagles and had a career high in tackles with Arizona last year.

Very good pickup for the Vikings for not much money.

I’ve read Seattle is a possibility for Mayfield.

I think Indy is targeting Jimmy G or Matt Ryan possibly.

Good to hear. I think they signed him for 2 years if I remember right.

Watson can't be found guilty. All he charges were dropped for lack of evidence. He still has to face 22 Civil lawsuits and can be suspended by the NFL.

The Browns gave up 3 1st round picks, a third and a fifth for Watson. Plus guaranteed $260 million, an NFL record by a lot!
