I'm looking forward to seeing this. "You Get What You Give" is my very favorite song from the 90's. It was so surprising to me that they broke up after coming up with such a great song.

The New Radicals will reunite for the first time in over 20 years to perform “You Get What You Give” as part of the Biden-Harris administration’s virtual “Parade Across America” event.

The 1998 hit single resurfaced on the 2020 campaign trail as the handpicked walk-on song for Vice President-elect’s husband Doug Emhoff – the soon-to-be Second Gentleman – during rallies.

“If there’s one thing on Earth that would possibly make us get the band together, if only for a day, it is the hope that our song could be even the tiniest beacon of light in such a dark time,” frontman Gregg Alexander said in a statement.

Politics aside (yes we can put it aside) I thought it was an awesome performance. Congratulations to Gregg and the band for getting some well deserved face time.

Another one of those many, many CDs that I've purchased for one song. The rest never really did anything for me, but this one was an instant classic.

Fun fact: The NR's keyboardist, Danielle Brisebois, played Cousin Stephanie in the final season of All In The Family and all 4 seasons of Archie Bunker's Place. In the reunion clip, it looks like she's doing backing vocals and percussion.
