Every boy's favorite girl next door from Gilligan's Island has passed away from complications from COVID-19. In the world of Ginger or Maryann I was always a Maryann guy. She was cute and funny. From what I have seen of her just a nice person. RIP. 2020 cannot end soon enough!

She was more than the girl next door to me. She was the hot, fun girl on Gilligan's Island. This is sad news another victim of f'n Covid-19.

I saw her at a fundraiser thing where she was one of the speakers. She was a fun and funny gal. A real-life Mary Ann.
RIP
(And poor Ginger; weren't we all Mary Ann fans? BTW, Tina Louise is the last surviving member of the Island at age 86.)

I loved them both, but if push had come to shove it would have been Ginger for me.
It was the red hair that sealed the deal.
Dawn was perfect in the role, and was apparently as nice a person off screen as on.

I like redheads, too, but petite trumps redheads for me. And she was sweeter and nicer and less self involved, but that didn't seem atypical for an actress. I never really got why Skipper was so hot for the ginger Ginger.
