wishing everyone here a very happy and, especially, healthy thanksgiving.
if you can't be with loved ones be sure to give them a call or doing something with them via computer to let them know you are thinking of them in these unprecedented times.

Yes Happy Thanksgiving! First time in my life we won’t be around a large part of our family which stretches from LI over to NJ but we adapt. We are keeping it small this year, just us 4 but I will drop off some goodies to my sister’s house where she is entertaining my parents. My Jersey relatives are very cautious about the disease so we are doing a zoom with them.
Looking forward to my turkey dinner with all the extras today!

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow IMWANers. I hope all you're all safe, healthy & with at least some of your loved ones. Here's a little musical salute from Bob's Burgers, which has become an annual theme song for my wife & me.
It is a strange year without the usual hoopla. Usually we are at my parents for an early dinner, but the combination of virus, small rooms, my dad being sick, and potentially too many people (and likely some non-mask wearers), we aren't doing that. My mother cancelled a couple weeks ago, but I was leaning against that anyway. In the afternoon, we go to my mother-in-law's. My sister-in-law and her husband came in this year - partly for that, partly to help my wife's mother after her second cataract surgery. They were tested before they came, my MIL lives alone and hasn't been able to go out other than the doc for a couple weeks. My wife is definitely going up, and I'll probably go, but at least it's fewer people and a bigger space - we'll be able to eat in a separate room. Still - not the usual.
Stay safe, everyone!

Happy Turkey Day to all! I don't post all that often but I've been here since my ICE Mag subscription ceased.
Staying home and safe. Opted for postponing holiday celebrations, family gatherings, weddings, etc until it is safe. We're planning big celebratory gatherings when conditions are safer!
Hussongs Cantina in Ensenada. Had to sneak back in to get my boombox!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We’ll be just the four of us at the house. Keeping Mick in Oceanside well FaceTimed. Watching a smattering of the National Dog Show as tradition, mix in some football and oodles of turkey. Trying to be safe and find joy in what we do have, and not focusing on what we don’t. Peace to all of you and yours!
