One of the true legends of the heavy organ sound in rock.

Hensley wrote virtually all of the Heep classics in his tenure from 1969-80 and was part of Blackfoot from 1982-85 and his first album with them was great.

He would also record solo and played for WASP.

A very rough year for the Heep family.

Demons & Wizards..... one of the best rock albums of the early 70's. My uncle turned me onto that one back in 1977. I was hooked almost immediately. Though they had some good albums before and after that, they never matched it.
