Just heard that Pete Way passed away earlier today at 69 years old. Said he passed from injuries sustained 2 months ago from an accident. Very sad to hear. I loved his playing. Loved all his UFO , Waysted , The Plot and Damage Control stuff , Waysted Vices is one of my all time favorites. Very sad to hear.

I have to say that Pete was a prolific songwriter. When one looks at the writing credits of various UFO songs, Pete's fingerprints were all over them. Sure, Schenker was a damn good writer, but for me, Pete was equally as good. This, considering he was a bass player.
