I received a PM but can't open it due to the following message being at the top of my Inbox: "You have 1 private message currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available."

What's on-hold message and how do I get rid of them?

You have to delete an older PM and then click release, and you'll be able to see it. Your "inbox" is full.

Your Message box is full. There is only limited space available for them.
You'll need to delete some of the old ones before you can see the new ones.

See, this is how it should always work. Other people answer, I continue with my meal.

Do the sent messages count in the folder limits?

I did delete some. I guess not enough though...

You have to release what's on-hold to get it to show up in your Inbox.

The limits are per folder, so deleting sent messages won't open space in your Inbox.
