My town's fireworks have been rescheduled for 9/5.

Cool- it fell on a Saturday. Didn't go to any park or hear any Italian songs but did go to a fish fry.

Remember to stand well away.

On the 4th of July, social distancing has been and is still important.

NY has always been known for excellent fireworks shows from the Macy’s 4th extravaganza to the Jones Beach show to our annual local show that has been going on since we moved here, you had plenty of choices. None this year.

So we are expecting a crazy evening of amateur explosions while we try and keep our poor nervous dog settled. The poor thing hides in our lower bathroom behind the bowl.

the guy one block over from us, (right through the backyards and across the street) had a hell of a fireworks show last night. i don;t how he got them, but he had the real mccoys, the big bombs. and shot them off in pairs for almost an hour. we sat on te back porch with margaritas and really enjoyed the show in our sleep clothes

just got back from getting a sunday paper, lots and lots of debris on the streets, looked like lots and lots of stimulus money went up in smoke last night.
