Britney accused of trashing apartment

Britney Spears is in the news again today, this time because she reportedly trashed a rented apartment in California.

The singer may be sued by Amir E. Zagross, a real esate broker who says the singer did 'significant' damage to the $1.5m apartment

According to Life & Style Magazine, Zagross says:

"I met Britney at the condo myself with her mother, brother, sons and her bodyguards. They assured me they were immaculate, nice people who would take care of the property. But the damage was significant."

Zagross says there is damage to the entire apartment - walls, flooring, balcony, doors, electrical outlets and air conditioning. The broker said they were unable to rent the apartment after the Spears family vacated it.

Britney investigated for child abuse and neglect

Britney Spears is at the centre of a child abuse and neglect investigation, after child welfare officials requested to unseal court documents in her custody battle.

The welfare officials from the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services say there are concerns about the safety and welfare of Spears' two young boys Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The are reportedly "multiple child abuse and neglect allegations" against Spears, according to court documents that were made available yesterday (December 5).

The documents are not specific about investigating the referrals relating to Kevin Federline, Spears' ex-husband, reports the Associated Press.

Federline currently has physical custody of the children after Spears was found to flout a court order that required her to undergo drug testing.

Tacky. Would they have requested to unseal court docs if she wasn't a celebrity? Shame on the judge who agreed.

I'm afraid I don't get what you're saying here. Why is it tacky for a child protection agency to want access to information that could aid them in their investigation of reported child maltreatment? As a child protection attorney, I request access to otherwise-confidential records on parents all the time. Her celebrity status is irrelevant.
