Some of my friends here already know I'm having surgery Tuesday, but yep, I'm still really struggling and this is just one step to some possible relief or I wouldn't have agreed to it.

I have toughed out some stuff nightmares are made of, but I finally can't do it anymore. I had to take a leave of absence from teaching and I went to the hospital last week.

I'm in agony as I type this and I'm just tired, so very tired.

I have music as well as Michelle and the kids to get me through but I feel so bad I can't be well for them.

I'll probably miss the start of the Phillies season, but I hope I'm able to work again by April, but who knows if this will even help.

I certainly want it to.

I will go nuts being laid up, but this has to be done.

Music will be a savior though I'm not sure I'll be playing it a lot and the medical bills will put an end to concerts and CDs for quite a while.

Anyway, I will definitely be checking in to see the latest news on here and I hope everyone is doing well.
