am i the only one who, to this day, still can't make out the lyrics to this song, and then when i read them i find that they make no sense whatsoever?

What's the issue. It's easy. "You ride on out to Wendy's".
I kid. I kid. I have no idea what he's singing about either. Read the lyrics to "Dream Gerard" to really get confused.
