I got the surround sound edition of XTC’s “Skylarking”, a T-shirt, a signed copy of Doc Emrick’s book, a Bill Nye book, and a book called Raising Hell about touring stories about metal bands, a game, a Prince print, and a new Echo Dot. And I have a puzzle on the way that I don’t know about.

But the surprise was that my wife made me a doo-rag from my Kiss solo album material. We’d looked at doing that when she made masks, but we figured it wasn’t worth the hassle. Turns out she’s been working on it on weekends and days off because she gets up a few hours before me those days. And here I thought she just stood over me watching me sleep those mornings, clutching the pillow and trying to decide if this is the day.

She's still working on the kiss solo-album pillowcase, Alan. Give her time. ;)

That was the first thing she did - I've been sleep-drooling on it for months!

The main gift was a Fitbit so I can monitor my workouts and heart health. That’s a real good one.
Got a few rock magazines and books.
An Ernie Ball guitar maintenance kit.
My son got me a deluxe car wash/ wax kit from the Chemical Guys. That will be fun to use when Spring returns.
