And I can’t even start on the Stumpers On The Stool collection. Please help me out.
Top row
• Can't pin down the first two, although they both look familiar. • Bankstatement is a Tony Banks (Genesis) side project. This is the promo version of the self-titled album which is designed to look like a bank passbook.
Second row
• Peter Murphy Deep, probably the "pop-up" version where the packaging can be folded into a 3-D shape... not sure if you have the 10-track or 11-track version, though. • Queensryche Empire, another promo version with exclusive packaging. • Nine Inch Nails "Physical"/"Suck", from the original pressing of the Broken EPwith the two songs on a separate 3" CD.
Bottom row
• Don't know here, either... maybe something by Erasure?

Every Johnny Cash record is in there. And the actual physical “Pick Of Destiny”is in the Tenacious D box.
Well, every Columbia Johnny Cash record. It's a great and beautiful set. There are separate collections for his Sun and Mercury releases. I don't think I've ever seen the Tenacious D box - but I did buy a Pick Of Destiny or two.

The Queensryche looks like "Empire". And that looks like a Nine Inch Nails mini CD.

THE GREAT TIN VERSION OF THE FABULOUS JIMBO DROP!
One of the most amazing Box Of Boxes I’ve had the pleasure to open. Where did he find all this stuff? I guess that would be NYC (and throughout the north east coastal region on his Jimbo Trips to see friends). I open a box like this and my jaw lies agape for a moment until I can process the awesomeness.
Of course he has The Rolling Stones singles tins. And a bunch of others I have yet to open. Was Not Was, Meat Loaf and that’s Suzie and the Banshees on the right end of the Backboard.
The Sweet set was one of the very few that has met with disaster. But I think it makes it even more spectacular. They put real taffy candies (Sweets) in there. Who was the genius that could not figure out that taffy might not age well in a warm boxed environment. A riveting gooey mess! I’m keeping it anyway cause I think it’s funny.
The Winwood and Clapton box set and tour book were both in the box and we know what that means. He dropped serious fundage on the concert ticket, box set and tour book on one pleasant evening out. He was the master of memorable evenings.
Ravi Shankar and George Harrison box.....CHECK.
The “Whatever” Seattle 90s Pop Culture box has real coffee beans and is wrapped in a jumbo cozy.
The Bruce Darkness box is patterned after a real six subject notebook binder as if it was where he wrote out all the lyrics instead of taking notes in High School. Full of scrapbook moments too.
I love em...but do both The Tragically Hip and Echo And The Bunnymen really need their own box set?
Iggy definitely got his ya ya’s out.
Queensryche and The Kinks Hanging On The Head.
And all three Stool Stumpers are pure masterful pieces of artwork. But who are they? (I think these might be real easy ones)
As per usual the original KISS lineup looks on full of wonderment. Jim bought that photo at the New Years Eve Concert we saw as teenagers.

Btw....Jimmy’s got a nice Queensryche section which is growing all the time.

Here is a news media picture of when the Stones flew into Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx on 5/7/02 riding in their own tongue emblazoned blimp to announce The Licks tour.
Jimmy was there! Of course he was. Here is Jim’s photo that I found in a Springer envelope that contained his “work party” pictures.
The coolest Stones fan I ever knew.

THE FULL BOX OF LARGE ARTIST CATALOG JAPANESE IMPORTS JIMBO DROP!
I wish you all could be with me here to take a turn grabbing a box at random and sharing the look on your face when you see what’s inside. I open this box and realize that it has been carefully packed by Jimmy so as to contain large collections of the Japanese imports of many artists. Like 200-300 of them.
Maybe a few are not imports but I strongly believe Jim would walk into a shop and see five, ten or twenty Japanese imports of a favorite artist and say “I’ll take the lot!” Just like when Harry Potter buys all the Bertie Botts every flavor beans off of the trolley on the Hogwart’s Express.
Let’s see... Yes and Wakeman, Bowie, Bryan Ferry, Renaissance, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, Stray Cats, Iron Maiden, The Who, The Dead, Sir Elton, throw in Procol Harum, King Crimson, Bruce and XTC.
I’m pawing through the box going “wow....Wow....WOW...YIPPEE!!!!!” It’s just a unique type of fun that I’d love to see other people experience.

THE REST OF YESTERDAY’S BOX VERSION OF THE JIMBO DROP:
Plus some from a box that I must’ve put on the Jimbo Library Cart over a month ago and then promptly forgot about.
I’m thinking he bought all eleven Beach Boys CDs on one visit. Imports of Sir Paul, Small Faces and even Ian Dury makes an appearance. And a Lisztomania import with Roger on the cover.
Gotta see if I know at least one other song off The Foundations box.
Cool Beatles four packs.
Another Marillion disc for the shelf and is that why they call themselves The Stranglers?
I think that is a Chris Squire autographed copy of the “Squackett” release. When I found it I just did the old “we are not worthy” Wayne’s World bow down and threw in the figurative towel.
Finally a real guitarist Hanging On The Head.
Never heard of the one Stool Stumper disc but I know it’s NOT “Eat A Peach”. The only hope I have to Stump anyone on the other one, with the all black cover, is if the reader can’t make out the embossing.

BITTERSWEET MILESTONE FOR THE JIMBO DROP!
I found the two last Jimbo Collection related items from here at the Jimbo family home. A quick tear at the thought. I’m sleeping in the post Sandy refurbished Jimbo room that housed the bulk of the Jimbo collection for decades! A couple of hours of memories rush through the mind laying in the bed. I guess for me it’s part Memorial Day for Vets like my Dad (WWll) and part for my departed loved ones.....Ethel(Mom), and Jimmy and Eddie (my dear brothers).
We’ll call this the Dont Know On The Dresser.
I mean I know what the thing is but not who it is.
Also, does anyone one know about the”Timber Point Mansion” or even attend this event there with him. My first guess would be a work outing with the folks at Springer Nature, but they called him Jim there not the fabled Jimbo.
I will put this on my son’s turntable as, alas, I don’t possess one currently at this late date.

WELCOME TO THE JIMBO DROP ICER PICK LOTTERY
Since it’s so fun randomly picking which box of awesomeness to open next, I figure why not let my friends at Imwan take a stab at it.
I’ve numbered the boxes that are within easy reach form 1 to 34. (Looks like I forgot 15 and 22 is hidden, but it’s between 21 and 13) The pick will be the next box to be opened and have it's contents immortalized photographically and then dropped in the normal JIMBO DROP fashion.
First come first served. If multiple people would like to play along they will go out in the order received.
Happy Hunting. We’ll open up all those little varmints yet!
