Recently, driving back and forth to work, I had in Disc One of Coltrane's One Down / One Up...Last Night's ride with the title track was aggressive enough, but this a.m. 'Afro Blue' simply rocked. There is no other way to put it (no surprise since Tyner basically invented the Power Chord and you can't ask for a more agressive lead instrumentalist than Coltrane). Petal to the Metal as I slalom my evil green Prius down I-55 @ 80-85 without even knowing it.

So, if you have the urge to open it up, this would be surprising effective alternative to some of the more obvious choices.. and should be in your collection anyway.
