John Fogerty is bringing Creedence Clearwater Revival hits and deep cuts back to the stage this November. He’s just announced he’ll recreate two of the band’s most popular albums in their entirety during a pair of concerts at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. In addition to his solo hits, Fogerty will play ‘Cosmo’s Factory’ and ‘Green River’ from start to finish. The albums — originally released in 1969 and 1970 — feature some of the most iconic CCR songs. The title-track and ‘Bad Moon Rising’ are the most well known hits from ‘Green River’, while ‘Run Through the Jungle,’ ‘Up Around the Bend’ and their cover of ‘I Heard it Through the Grapevine’ are some of the hits featured on ‘Cosmo’s Factory.’
Fogerty will play ‘Cosmo’s Factory’ and select hits from his solo catalog on Nov. 17, and ‘Green River’ with an additional set of hits on Nov. 18. He’ll also bring ‘Cosmo’s Factory’ to Caesar’s in Atlantic City on Nov. 20. Internet pre-sale tickets will be available at 8AM ET Oct. 1. All remaining tickets will then go on sale Oct. 10 at 10AM. For full details and ticket information, please visit JohnFogerty.com.

IMO, Cosmos is CCR's best album. I own that & the 2 Chronicles hits sets.

His encore will be a Run Through the Jungle / The Old Man Down the Road mash-up.

John Fogerty was prepared to open the door for a reunion of Creedence Clearwater Revival, but says it was his former bandmates, and not him, who prevented it happening.
And now there’s no chance of the much-vaunted gathering taking place. CCR split in acrimony in 1972 and rhythm guitarist Tom, John’s brother, died in 1990 without having made peace with his sibling. The last time all four members played together was at Tom’s wedding in 1980, but in the following decade relations worsened through a series of legal actions. While survivors Stu Cook and Doug Clifford had campaigned for a reunion in the past, they appeared to go off the idea. So when Fogerty started sending positive signals, the pair seemed not to believe there was no ulterior motive. Cook told Uncut: “Leopards don’t change their spots – this is just an image-polishing message by John. My phone certainly hasn’t rung.” Clifford said: “It might have been a nice idea 20 years ago, but it’s too late.” Now Fogerty tells Billboard: “I was surprised I was so mellow about it. But I’ve heard through the grapevine the other fellas were really upset or something over that. “So I sent back: ‘Oh. I guess there’s no reunion then.’” Fogerty is now working on a new solo album which he says will feature a number of big-name guest stars, with the Foo Fighters having been mentioned off the record.

Fans of John Fogerty will want to tune in to the debut of Fox’s new TV series, The Finder, when the show debuts Thursday (January 12). Fogerty not only wrote the show’s theme song; he scored a guest role as an actor in the opening episode. “The producers of the show, I guess they’re big fans and had this idea that they wanted me to play a character,” Fogerty said in an interview with Billboard.com. “They had a storyline that was inspired, I guess, by some events in my real life. And then as things rolled along, they asked me to create a theme for their show.” Fogerty also performed a stripped-down version of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son” for the episode. The track will be posted for free download on his website one week after the show airs. The veteran rocker went on to reveal that he’s been recording original material for a new album that will include such guests as Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert and the Foo Fighters.

Fogerty "heard it through the grapevine"? I love it. By the way, a note to Stu Cook and Doug Clifford-keep playing the state fairs and zoos (and not good ones) as Creedence Clearwater Revisited that'll show John. Idiots.

I still say they should change the name of the current group to Creedence Clearwater Regurgitated.

The thought does make me want to ralph, though it's kind of depressing that Elliot Easton has apparently needed the $'s badly enough to be involved in the past.

If Fogerty was really serious about wanting to do a reunion, wouldn't it have made more sense to actually call the other guys, rather than trying to communicate through the press?

True-but overlooked is the fact that Cook doesn't have a phone.

It's great that many acts spend a few weeks or months in one location for the fans. Wish I could have seen the GnR residences or the Motley Crue. Also wished I could have gotten tickets to see the Stones In Vegas but alas, too $$$.

i never expected, or saw, fogerty to be the vegas type....... There is no "Vegas type" in 2016. Everyone plays here. Full shows. Great shows. This isn't 1962. I saw the Fogerty residency the first time around. Fantastic.

Fantastic. dano, i know what you mean, but he just seems so....for lack of a better word, aloof, from all that is around him.......hard to imagine him chit-chatting with the audience and telling stories....i don't know it must be some preconceived notion i have of him in my mind. i can see him playing the palms or the hard rock, but an extended stay at the venetian (which is pretty high end last time i looked) seems out of character i guess. renny
