My girlfriend only just found out that the best station in Philly WXPN-FM (88.5, the radio station at U of Penn) has been playing every song in their library from the 1970s A-Z in alphabetical order.
We found this out yesterday and listening has been fascinating.
Here's an example of where they are at in the last couple of hours.
Hearing Mandrill, 999, Spooky Tooth, Big Star and The Damned on the radio is incredible, but also hearing deep cuts from Blondie, Beach Boys, Queen, Free, Steely Dan and Three Dog Night and so many others has been fun as hell.
Great stuff while you are cleaning and getting Christmas decorations up!
