Very sad news here. I really enjoyed him over the decades. Seems and I am sure a real (nice) guy. I will miss his interviews and I'm sure many of us will as well.

Craig Sager, the longtime NBA sideline reporter famous for his flashy suits and probing questions, has died after a battle with cancer, Turner Sports announced Thursday. He was 65.

"Craig Sager was a beloved member of the Turner family for more than three decades and he has been a true inspiration to all of us," Turner President David Levy said in a statement. "There will never be another Craig Sager. His incredible talent, tireless work ethic and commitment to his craft took him all over the world covering sports."

Terrible loss of someone who was apparently a prince of a guy. Cancer really sucks ass.

Oh, this is so sad.

He was such a great guy with amazing spirit and who didn't love those suits that he wore?

The players loved him too.

Very, sad news.

I'm not allowed to feel "gutted" because that's apparently an emotion I shouldn't feel on here, but I am anyway.

My thoughts are with his co-workers and family.

I just loved his suits, always gave me a smile or an outburst of laughter. I loved watching the players checking out his attire, they would be laughing as well. He was like a little boy, always had that enthusiasm and love for the game as we did as youngsters.
What a great guy, he will be missed immensely.

Absolutely agree with everything that's been said. Was always fun to watch, and his repartee with Gregg Popovich was always priceless. Pop was obviously deeply affected by his passing. RIP, Craig.
