I own six title on the year end 200 which is probably the highest number that I've had in the last 10 years.

Purple Rain / Prince and the Revolution
Metallica / Metallica
The Hits/The B-Sides / Prince
Back in Black / AC/DC
Nevermind / Nirvana
1999 / Prince

Bannings: Dwigt Rortugal
25 - Adele
21 - Adele
Immortalized - Disturbed
Purple Rain - Prince and The Revolution
Blackstar - David Bowie
1 - The Beatles
Metallica - Metallica
19 - Adele
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats - Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats
Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 - The Eagles
The Hits/The B-Sides - Prince
Back In Black - AC/DC
Sound & Color - Alabama Shakes
Thriller - Michael Jackson
1999 - Prince

I have the three Queen greatest hits CDs, but not in that collection.

And I protest the inclusion of the Journey greatest hits on the grounds that they don't say which lineup it is.

What strikes me about that list is that I think only three of those were 2016 releases. Maybe four (not sure about Nathaniel Rateliff).

85 of 200. At least half of that total are catalog titles.

30 for me. Surprising how well Enya does after all this time and it seems that Lady GaGa's star has fallen (#108) as she can't crack the top 100. GnR still on the list. Adele can do no wrong.

I'll go with:
Immortalized (46)
Metallica (92)
Back in Black (160)
Nevermind (161)
Revolution Radio (195)

I also own 2/3 of the Queens greatest hits package (I and II, natch), and all of the content of GnR's Greatest Hits. My alignment with mainstream popular (as opposed to pop) music has never been very high, but split off around the end of Grunge and has never been back. I own some albums by other bands on this list, but it looks like one 2 of the top 200 that were released this year. I'll get into a year end list later.

Gosh, I've got 19 of the 200 (about 18 more than I expected), of which only three were purchased this past year.

Trans Siberian-Orchestra

That's it.
