TWIN PEAKS: Conversation With The Stars

In a USA first, stars of Twin Peaks, Ray Wise, Harry Goaz, Kimmy Robertson, Sheryl Lee*(select dates), and the Executive Producer of Twin Peaks: The Return, Sabrina S. Sutherland, will tour in 2025 for an exclusive and unique evening of CONVERSATION WITH THE STARS.

There was something like that here back in 2020 before covid took over. Ray Wise and Sheryl Lee were here and the theater had Fire Walk with Me on the big screen. The show was presented by Blue Rose Magazine.

Did you go?

Definitely! After the film (which was great seeing on the large screen), there was a Q&A with Ray and Sheryl. He sang Mairsy Dotes to much applause. Then came photos and autographs with both. Sheryl signed a copy of the Blue Rose Magazine with her as Laura on the cover.

I wonder if JohnG will attend the New York show. I'd go if it was held somewhere close-by.

This is an upcoming track from the Russian group, Messer Chups Surf and Twin Peaks- at around the 2:41 point.

Great track, Lawrence! I am always up for a Bettie Page look, to say nothing of gorilla suits! Seriously, a lot of fun.
The Twin Peaks reference is at 59 seconds, though, not 2:41. Unless I missed something there.

No, I jotted down the wrong time.

Messer Chups is one of the better present day surf instrumental groups. I think they have best-of CD for the uninitiated,.

I really liked it. Can't believe they've been around so long and I've never heard of them..

It's a big world. There's lots of stuff.

The New York Times announced their 100 Best Films of the 21st Century and Lynch's "Mulholland Drive" is ranked at number 2, just behind Bong Joon Ho’s “Parasite”.

The top 10 are:

1 “Parasite”

2 "Mulholland Drive"

3. “There Will Be Blood”

4. “In the Mood for Love”

5. “Moonlight”

6. “No Country For Old Men”

7. “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”

8. “Get Out”

9. “Spirited Away”

10. “The Social Network”

The full list is here, unfortunately behind a paywall:

No Zodiac?

Boo. I would take that any day of the week for Fincher over The Social Network.

God, I feel old. I can't believe we're at the end of the 21st century already.

What a ride it's been!

Went to the 4th Street Art Fair today and snagged this David Lynch art poster, without the ArtFroh on Lynch's forehead, of curse:

It's also available on Etsy along with other art prints by the same artist.
